PBLO All Star Game Delayed Until 2022
Unfortunately, due to the current COVID situation and the lack of schedule flexibility for the upcoming season, the PBLO All-Star Game 2021 has been delayed until 2022.  Oshawa will remain the host city for next season’s All-Star showcase.

Ken Babcock, the Elite Director for the Oshawa Legionaires franchise, said in a statement that he is disappointed in having to cancel the event, but knows it is the only decision due to the current climate. "We are disappointed to have to cancel the PBLO 2021 All-Star showcase scheduled for early this June. Another wonderful event that young players won't be able to experience unfortunately,” stated Oshawa Legionaires Elite Director, Ken Babcock.  “However, with the pandemic still not under control, and regional bubble competition likely mandated when baseball gets the green light to return this summer, it is simply the right decision. As host, we look forward to staging this All-Star event for the PBLO in June of 2022 when things presumably will be back to more normal. Oshawa is committed to put on a great showcase event in 2022 at Kinsmen Memorial Stadium." The All-Star Game was set to be a extravagant event to honour and promote the leagues’ best junior and senior players.  Just a few of the special perks that were planned over the course of the two 9-inning games included a PA announcer, personalized walkup music, live game stats, in-game concessions, and team/player photo opportunities. While the All-Star showcase will not be undergoing for this season, the 2021 regular season is still planning to be a success, albeit a different experience from past seasons.  Once the provincial government gives a timeline for return to play, more information will be released on the format of the upcoming season.  Stay tuned in the coming weeks
